KALTOSTAT® Calcium Sodium Alginate dressing is: Soft, sterile dressing made of calcium-sodium alginate fiber that converts to a firm gel/fiber mat on contact with fluid, designed to absorb exudate and to help control minor bleeding.

KALTOSTAT® Calcium Sodium Alginate dressings can be used on moderately to heavily exuding wounds including:

• Pressure injuries (Stage I-IV)
• Venous ulcers
• Arterial and diabetic ulcers
• Donor sites
• Bleeding Wounds
• Superficial burn wounds
• Lacerations and abrasions
• Traumatic wounds
• After surgical wound debridement
